As part of the Quality Assurance team, the Quality Assurance Analyst conducts the testing of product development projects.
Responsibilities include:
Working with developers and functional analysts to define test plans, test coverage matrices and corresponding test cases.
Testing and prioritizing reported problems and product fixes, as well as ensuring the existence of alternate solutions.
Performing regression testing using manual and automated processes.
Describing defects using bug reporting software.
Assisting in solving customer support issues.
3+ years of QA or test engineering with a good knowledge of test methodology.
Experience with the entire test cycle.
Able to execute test cases meticulously as well as perform exploratory testing.
Working knowledge of Oracle SQL.
Attention to detail, methodical, inquisitive, accurate.
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to write automated tests using .NET and C# is considered an asset.
Ability to mentor others is considered an asset.
