Responsibilities
*Comprehends and contributes to mobile specific testing requirements and designs
*Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation; actively participates in process improvements
*Recognizes issues (e.g. with requirements, design, implementation, etc.) and works with appropriate resources to address and resolve
establishes a high standard of quality, and provids credibility with customers, both internal and external
*Seeks and understand big picture/business cases behind individual requirements
*Root cause analysis of software and hardware related issues
*Work with development engineers to drive to closure on problems found, including recreating failures and verifying fixes
*Configure hardware systems for test execution

About the project:

You will be joining a team of 25 developers, 3-4 leads and 7 QA
people. The tools you will use will include Perforce/ GIT, Confluence/ Greenhopper, JIRA/Bugzilla, SCRUM, iOS, Android, SDK. The projects you will be part of are:

FLEXIBLE, DECENT, INTELLIGENT, WORKING PERSON WHO CAN FIND MOTIVATION IN WHAT HE/SHE DOES
*About 1 to 3 years of experience of QA blackbox techniques
*Keen understanding of user experience/expectations on mobile applications
*Thorough understanding of iOS, Android, WP operating sistems
*Good debugging skills
*Understanding of software architectures and software development processes
*Fairly good understanding of mobile technologies XCODE, DDMS, ROBOTIUM etc
*Experience with servers, networking devices and/or storage devices
*Experience testing client-server products

The ideal candidate will have an interest in improving software reliability and quality through automation and consistent automation processes
*Solid problem solving skills
*Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and team oriented environment.
*Experience working with offshore teams
*Excellent writing and communication skills
*Excellent interpersonal skill set with a self-starting attitude, team-player, and flexibility. A fast learner (new system and test equipment applications) and high degree of creativity and initiative is expecte
*Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field or proven qualifications
