For one of our clients, the world leader in mobility, driving the transformation and growth of the converging Internet and Communications industries, we are looking for a QA Lead.
Working within an Agile/Scrum development environment;
Gaining product expertise, quickly becoming a subject matter expert on the service that is being tested;
Leading the team in planning, execution and reporting of testing activities based on agreed goals and requirements;
Designing, implementing, reviewing and executing test cases and scenarios based on product requirements and functional specifications;
Reviewing and improving the Test processes and tools;
Collaborating with other stakeholders in testing activities;
Leading test engineers (including external contractors) in the execution of test plans, including providing technical support, troubleshooting problems and eliminating roadblocks to successful test completion;
Being actively involved in problem solving;
Representing the team from QA perspective to other stakeholders;
Share knowledge and tutor/coach/mentor less-experienced peers and co-ops/interns;
Maintaining clear and effective communication with the team, Product Management, Development.
4-6 years leading R&D subproject or project work utilizing modern testing methods and techniques;
Experience with the software development life cycle and SW testing, test processes and test tools;
Experience leading a team of test engineers;
Use of test management and error management tools;
The ability to plan testing and work closely with development team and other teams as necessary;
Ability to prioritize tasks for short and long-term deliverables.
