On behalf of our client, a multinational company with 50 years expertise in designing and producing packaging equipments, we are looking for a Purchasing Project Engineer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prospecting the market for new suppliers of machining components, metal sheet products and raw materials suppliers;
Negotiating prices and contracts with suppliers;
Being directly involved in supplier homologation process;
Establishing the portfolio of products in order to be outsource to suppliers;
Preparing the Request for Quotation for suppliers and negotiate prices;
Leading the process of transferring of new products to suppliers;
Monitoring the work volume of suppliers and propose solutions to balance the workload;
Collaborating with quality department to improve the quality of the materials purchased;
Maintaining the work relation with suppliers and collaborating with Technical department in order to identify solutions for technical problems;
Being responsible for investigations of treatments, alternative materials, processes and technologies and their implementation into the business.
University degree required in the technical field;
Minimum of 1 year experience in purchasing field;
Knowledge of specialized market (suppliers of machining, metal sheet components and raw material);
Excellent knowledge in the machining and metal sheet components;
Excellent communication and negotiating skills;
Availability to travel up to 70-80% of time in the country and abroad;
Advanced English level;
Driving license B.
