This is a Professional Services Delivery Manager based in our Cluj-Napoca office, which will set up and subsequently manage a team of senior technical engineers.
You will be responsible for the recruitment of highly specialised technical staff – internal and external; day to day resource scheduling of technical staff; operational staff management; crisis resolution; liaison with equivalent UK management; reporting on staff activity and utilisation KPIs; assisting in staff training and process near-shoring.
You should have a technical background and have worked your way up into a position where you are consulted about project strategy, and held resourcing responsibility, leading both peer subordinate staff on best operational practice.
You should have a good understanding of the challenges of reconciling high-level commercial and customer facing priorities with technical and operational reality.
You will have firm views on how to approach a client deployment project correctly, accounting for adequate risk mitigation, problem anticipation, acceptance testing, leading to a ‘right first time’ approach. You will however also be a team player who can work with others, and be able to tailor your approach flexibly when asked.
You will be motivated and conscientious, and a self starter, with impeccable written and spoken English, who is able to present a calm and confident image to clients, whilst sometimes thinking on the fly, and maintaining an appropriate level of client respect at all times.
