Our client is an international manufacturer with production plants all over the Europe. For his operations in Romania we are looking for a Production Manager. The role of the Production Manager is to plan, coordinate and control of manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule
- Ensuring that the production is cost effective
- Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
- Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
- Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
- Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipments;
- Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs
- Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
- Driving people performance, efficiency and build and meet the plant budget
- Driving plant improvement networks and involve in continuous improvement processes
- Ensure employees safety, respect for the environment and security of the plant
- Participate at selection and recruitment of staff
- Supervising and motivating a team of workers;
- Reviewing the performance of subordinates;
- University degree in Engineering or Economics / Management
- At least 5 years proven experience in production and team management
- Minimum 5 years leading experience
- Fluent in English / German is an advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
