• Define technical processes and manufacturing equipment, support sourcing
• Lean line concept, value stream, general production concepts
• Definition of machine specification
• Support capacity calculation, cycle time diagrams
• Plan and realize machine and process capability studies
• Support of product and line relocation, ramp-up schedule with AE management, lead plant, transferring plant and project leaders
• Creation of work instructions
• Preparation and coordination of technical approvals and releases
• Relocation and launch new products
• Planning, procurement, set-up new EWAK-tools
• Support start of production, ramp-up and running series
• Optimize processes to increase quality and utilization, by use of statistical methods as statistic process control (SPC)
• Participation and support on process audits and partially on customer audits
• Support in production Point-CIPs and support teams (including support with issues on yield, quality, delivery, cycle time, failure analysis)
• Achieve KPI targets for department
• Support and educate service and maintenance technicians
• University degree in electronics / mechanical / electromechanical Engineering
• Fluent English is mandatory
• IT Skills: MS Office, SAP
• Experience in optical inspection systems, mechanical design, pneumatic, electrotechnic; statistical methods, documentation, lean production systems, FMEA
• Experience in documentation preparation for production, control plan
• Very good knowledge of IPC requirements for SMT and THT
• Good communication skills, team orientation, team player, problem solving skills
• Structured and analytic approach
