Key responsibilities:
Design of structural buildings and with focus on tasks such as:
• Leading and managing projects with a global mind-set and with holistic thinking - respect for the cultural differences
• Responsibility for ensuring preparation of production and details drawings by using 3D drawing software, like: TEKLA Structures, REVIT; AutoCAD 3D.
• Ensuring project documentation meets Eurocode/ACI and other American standards/local construction standard requirements and CONSOLIS group guidelines
• Understanding how to tactfully communicate difficult/sensitive information
• Reporting to the team leader (based in Cluj-Napoca) and also to the technical manager (based in Denmark)
1) PROFESSIONAL SKILLS:
- Modeling with 3D software - minimum 3 years experience.
- In the precast concrete industry - minimum 1-2 years experience.
- In preparation of concrete element`s details drawings according the minimum requairements by the European standards and according the designer calculation – minimum 3 years experience.
- In precast joints and bearing pads detailing according the minimum requairements by the European standards and according the designer calculation – minimum 1 years experience.
- In drawing up lists of material quantities – minimum 1 years experience.
2) COMPUTER SKILLS
- 2.a) Design software: TEKLA Structures, AutoCAD - 3D, REVIT;
- 2.b) Other software: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Internet navigation software.
3) PERSONAL SKILLS
Diligent, eager to learn, communicative, friendly, organized, disciplined, careful.
About your new job:
Are you interested in design of precast concrete buildings? And you want to have an influence on the development and adaptation of precast concrete solutions as a common building solution in countries of low to high seismicity levels? Then become a part of our design team and join us to expand our business in buildings construction across southern part of Europe, North Africa and Asia.
We have new ambitious projects in Egypt, Tunisia and Indonesia, and you will help to lift the precast industry in seismic areas to a high professional level, where we will be leading. Your new job will be based at Consolis Engineering Services in Cluj Napoca, Romania.
Our design team is responsible for design and development of precast concrete building solutions in seismic areas in Europe, North Africa and other new markets in Asia. The design team assists developing business units (BUs), like Bonna Tunisia in Tunisia, ECPC in Egypt and Bonna Indonesia in the sales phase, to analyse new projects and deliver drawings and Bill of Quantity for pricing, and if orders rest on these BUs the design team with help from other departments will do the design, production drawings and detailing works. You will be responsible for projects whereby cross-border collaboration is required.
The Design team is also a part of Consolis Buildings Technology Centre and will from time to time be involved in very interesting development projects for Consolis as a group.
