In the automotive industry increasingly active steering systems are developed. Electronic controls allow new and innovative functions in the field of driver assistance, driving comfort and driving dynamics to assist the driver. In the development of such active steering systems, the innovative high quality software is a key differentiator. To strengthen our team we are looking for experienced software and software system test engineers and engineers who want to become such experts.
Your responsibilities:
Perform software and software system tests for customer specific embedded software components for microprocessor controlled Electric Power Steering systems
- Requirements analysis and effort estimation for testing
- Definition of test cases for Electric Power Steering systems
- Writing test specifications based on system requirement specifications
- Implementation/development of fully automated and manual test cases
- Creation for test planning, and responsible for test case generation and test execution in cooperation with the test team
- Maintenance and improvement of HW and SW components of the test system
- Real time simulation of different environmental conditions
- Running SW / System test loops
- University degree in computer science, automation, electronics and telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable.
- Field experience in testing, preferably in automotive area
- Knowledge with ClearCase, Doors , ClearQuest , INCA, LabCar EE and ControlDesk
- Pearl scripts, C#, Object oriented programming languages dSPACE/ETAS HIL System
- Knowledge of C language and SW development principles
- CAN, FlexRay protocols
- MATLAB and Simulink
- Experience with electrical drives
- Initiative and creativity, persuasion and assertiveness, with an eye for details
- Self-employed and responsible way of working
- Enjoy working in an international team
- English advanced (German skills are an advantage)
- Availability for training in Germany for several months
