RESPONSABILITATI

Responsibilities:

Being responsible for providing hands-on expertise, making of analysis - like information flows - for the management, and support in
the areas of Transportation & Forwarding within the company;
Providing support in the following areas: preparing transport tenders, developing high level costs / schedule / risk analysis/for the
proposed solutions, assisting with negotiation, carrier implementation, transport optimization;
Working in Cross-functional teams to prepare responses to customer requests on the approach, process, technology requirements and
costs that reflect customer needs and are profitable for the company;
Providing expertise in integrated distribution and transportation network analyses covering: Optimum facility, location, Facility
functionality, warehousing, X-docking, flow through, reverse logistics, Distribution simulation and Value added services;
Ensuring a proactive consultation for the customer regarding information, business flows and processes identifying areas of
opportunity where the company can provide value added services information systems and management decisions support tools;
Maintaining a close communication with operations and commercial team,to assure uniform understanding of customer expectations
relative to project timelines operational solutions, timeline, costs and results;
Assuring a safe and healthy working environment and keeping up-to-date by professional membership, reading and training.


CERINTE

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Transportation / Forwarding;
Minimum 3 years experience in Logistics&Forwarding industry is mandatory;
Strong working knowledge of MS project software;
Availability to travel;
Good knowledge of English and knowledge of German and French languages desired;
Strong written and communication skills;
Knowledge of the European legislation regarding transportation;
Able to translate market developments into consequences for the operations process;
Capable of solving complex problems;
Excellent computer skills;
Solid analytical abilities;
Prior 3 party logistics experience in integrated Logistic services with a strong emphasis on integrated transport solutions.
