Unit/working environment
Position belong to Material Availability Team, inside the Factory Materials Management on both Value or Volume units.
Key objectives
- Ensuring conforming quality materials availability for the factory (ATO Mechanics, P&P and Engine Mechanics)
- Manage inventory on an appropriate level
- Key interface between Nokia and Supplier in terms of demand & supply communication
Key responsibilities
- Responsible for optimizing material availability for the factory in mass production.
- Responsible to maintain a correct level of DOS and to work with other factories to optimize material transfers.
- Handling special issues such as critical supply, EXOB, GR/IR.
- Generate , update the material risk report and communications concerning demand and supply towards all the relevant parties.
- Tracks inbound materials in collaboration with the Inbound Logistics Team.
- Supplier development. Coordinating Supplier Rating and Measurement. Taking part in escalation process.
Stakeholders/
interfaces
All teams within respective factory and Materials Management organization. Key interfaces also include Sourcing, suppliers and factory Supply Logistics team.
Individual Portfolio
Typically 4-6 years relevant experience, fully competent. Uses functionally specific knowledge. Degree.

Performs day-to-day activates to meet departmental/project objectives. Requires immoderate supervision. Applies commonly recognised concepts within their field of expertise. Shares knowledge with less experienced peers or have high collegial interaction. Raises innovative ideas.
