The Association’s vision is “Cluj, at the forefront of innovative regions in the field of Information Technology in Europe”.

The North-West Regional Development Agency (NWRDA) is a catalyst organisation for the Cluj IT cluster through the implementation of the SMART + project regioNet – Clusters and networks as successful drivers guiding regions to competitiveness and innovation. NWRDA actively supports the establishment and development of the Cluj IT Association.

What will your responsibilities look like?

Objectives:

* Training the IT community at an international level
* Coordinating and developing the Cluj IT Association’s activity
* Attracting interesting projects for the Cluster’s development

Responsibilities:

* —Proposes and implements the Cluster’s development strategy, along with the Board;
* —Organises member and board meetings, coordinates and facilitates work group activities;
* —Identifies business opportunities and facilitates the implementation of common projects, the creation of jointly developed products, the presentation of cluster member services for new markets (trade shows, economic missions, etc.)
* —Manages the cluster association’s budget and administrative personnel;
* —Ensures the cluster’s internal and external communication (the cluster’s brand, means of communication – website, social media etc);
* —Identifies new projects which could finance the association, accesses and manages related financing projects;
* —Identifies and creates partnerships with external organisations (similar clusters from other countries, networks and associations, cluster networks, universities etc);
* —Other responsibilities established by the host’s management structure and the Board which contribute to the accomplishment of association objectives.


CERINTE

* A degree in IT&C, Business Management or other related fields;
* Deep understanding of the local IT&C environment
* Relevant work experience in Innovation and Technology Transfer
* International experience proven through work experience in other countries/commitment when working on projects and collaborating with international organisations/attendance at specialised conferences or courses;
* Availability to travel within the country and abroad, in order to represent the cluster’s interests.

* Excellent communication on all business levels (top, middle-management and executive);
* Leadership, initiative and the power to mobilise and finalise the association’s projects and activities;
* Excellent mediation abilities, diplomatic spirit;
* Networking abilities, capacity to relate to and mobilise persons from different companies, institutions and organisations;
* Flexibility, seriousness, readiness and impartiality when carrying out cluster projects;
* Advanced English skills (writing, reading and speaking); knowledge of other languages is an advantage;

What experience do you need?

* At least 5 years of work experience in the IT&C field
* Deep understanding of the business environment, at least 5 years of management experience
