For one of our clients, a multinational company in petroleum industry, we are looking for a Junior Buyer.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinating the procurement processes in the given area (tendering, contracting, supplier evaluation and claim procedure) in order to achieve the best commercial and technical conditions for the required material or service;
· Offering support in negotiations of commercial conditions and participating in negotiations;
· Preparing the contract drafts, in particular commercial conditions collecting and considering the comments from other related units;
· Performing prequalification of suppliers and periodical post-evaluation of the contracted vendors and following up of the supplier activity evaluation results;
· Maintaining the supplier database, performing SAP procurement related tasks: purchase orders,contracts registration, registration of tender documentation and contracts, and keeping record of tenders, exemptions and contracts up to date.
· Work Experience: 1 year previous experience in purchase/procurement area, or other related administrative areas;
· Educational Background: University Degree;
· Developed communication and problem solving skills;
· Fluent in English is mandatory;
· Experience SAP R/3 and ebidding is a plus;
· Computer literacy with enhanced Excel skills.
