Job context and your role inside the team:
One of the main 5 projects in Pentalog Cluj is sustained through a collaboration with an important group that functions through 40 offices all over the world. The 3 activity directions covered are:
- Energy: intelligent technologies that function in all type of buildings in an integrated solutions pattern
- Industry: equipment and machines from all areas of applicability: marine, aerospace, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, etc.
- Digital hub: web 2.0 technologies available through system and network engineering, 3D simulations, real-time communication, etc.
The system application of this company is structured in several modules that are very strong interconnected; to work on one of them implies to have a good knowledge about the others. Therefore, the development activity itself is composed of several projects.
If you already consider that this challenge is worth analyzing, here are the core responsibilities you will have as a JAVA Software Developer:
- Suggesting technical solutions in a proactive approach, inside a team of various specialists;
- Good argumentative skills regarding the advantages and the limitations of a solution.
- Writing technical specifications and programming code;
- Ensuring bug-fixing and maintenance;
- Ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Very good JAVA programming experience – minimum 4 years is mandatory;
- Knowledge of Struts, MVC, Maven Sun Ant;
- Knowledge in any of the following: PHP, Joomla and/or Drupal and/or GWT – is a strong advantage;
- English fluency – mandatory; French is a plus.

Grupul Pentalog a realizat in 2007 o crestere interna de 67% si o cifra de afaceri de 5,5M?. La inceputul anului 2008, echipa Pentalog numara deja 200 de persoane.
