Ixxus Inc., Alfresco’s UK Platinium Partner, in partnership with Evozon Systems is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and abilities:
- At least 3 years of Java experience preferably on web applications development;
- Perfect Java coreknowledge and excellent understanding of OOP principles;
- Extended experience with Spring framework; experience with Alfresco is a strong plus;
- Good knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS
- Experience with Web/Applications Servers: JBoss, Tomcat
- Knowledge of build tools like Ant and Maven;
- Knowledge of revision control systems: SVN, GIT
- Understanding of agile development practices; understanding of Test-Driven Development;
- Knowledge of a range of design patterns with the ability to apply them appropriately
- Good problem solving abilities and detail orientation;
- Can take ownership of tasks and be a fast learner;
- Excellent English knowledge, both speaking and writing;
