Our client is a multinational company, specialized in offering outsourcing services for world wide clients.
Based on the business growth in Romania, the number of business process transitions from various clients to the delivery center from Cluj-Napoca has increased significantly. This has to be handled by a new dedicated IT Transition manager who will work with the client and delivery center's IT and Operations teams end-to-end in all IT aspects.
Responsibilities:
- Main responsibility is to support the various process transitions end to end from the West European client environment to delivery center from Cluj-Napoca – and act a single point of contact for the IT area
- The responsibilities will cover end-to-end IT aspects from participating in RFP, Solution Identification discussions through the actual process transition till go-live / handover to IT operations team
- Work closely together with the business leaders to understand their needs and suggest different solutions
- Document implemented systems and processes
- Plan and lead IT improvement projects during the process transition
- Follow up the problem resolution and if necessary intervene until it gets resolved
- During the transition, cooperate with other IT teams for ensuring smooth operation after go-live
- Keep contacts with vendors and service providers
- Deploy monitoring tools to ensure proactive prevention against system failures
- Work on standardization together with the customer in a heterogeneous environment
- Business travels in West European Countries will occur 50 % of the working time
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Economical Informatics
- 2+ years of experience in supporting ERP applications and / or IT Infrastructure elements
- Knowledge of voice solutions (PBX, Call flow, ACD)
- Understanding of different network components (LAN, WAN, Firewall, Router, Switch, MPLS)
- Knowledge of MS Windows based system architecture (Windows, Office, etc.)
- Knowledge of English at an advanced level
- Knowledge of French/German at any level would be an advantage
- Good communications skills – for both with delivery center / Client IT and business teams
- Strong “can do” attitude – to overcome problems that “always” occur during transitions
- Availability for business trips in West European countries (50 % of the working time)
