RESPONSABILITATI

The primary objective of the Level 2 Deskside is to resolve user incidents (problems) as quickly as possible returning the user to full service.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

- Maintaining IT Compliant environment – adhering and implementing Genpact Security Policies in Deskside environment
- Handling Reimage requests
- Patching Network cables in hub rooms – Maintenance of Hub Rooms and IT Control Offices as per Genpact Clean Desk and Data Compliance policies
- All deskside related Moves and changes in IT Infrastructure eg. IT Systems, Machines, wiring, cabling, etc.
- Managing team movements across CoEs
- Asset Management and Inventory control
- Setting up of Video Conferencing equipment
- Maintaining stock availability
- Guiding / handling Level 1 escalated cases on Coreload eg. Microsoft Office Applications, Operating System Windows 2000 and XP, Account Administration i.e. Creation, Change, Update, Remove on GECISROM, VPN Token Management not limited to password reset, disabling, etc.
- Create / Update SOPs wherever required


CERINTE

Main knowledge areas:

- Level 2 Windows.
- Deep Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Hardware knowledge.
- MCP or MCDST Windows XP is an advantage.
- English knowledge (at least an intermediate level) is required

Experience requirements: at least 6 months IT helpdesk experience

Other required abilities:

- Ability and willingness to learn complex IT - infrastructure domains, accomplish stretch goals in order to add value to Genpact and its customers
