On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment for automotive and motor vehicles we are in the process of identifying the best suitable professional for the position of Injection Engineer Manager.
Scope & Relationships:
- Investigation and reporting, tracking and management strategies;
- Negotiation skills and continuous communication;
- R&D (Research and Development);
- Continuous improvement;
- Permanent collaboration inside the group within the IMS teams and outside among Suppliers.
Part of job description:
- Mold cost estimate;
- Coordinate mold inventory (new & existing);
- Validate new molds;
- Mold DFM;
- Capacity calculations (injection machine);
- Coordinate purchase of new injection machines;
- Establish & implement mold injection machines maintenance programs;
- Mobility: traveling to Suppliers and within the group, according to situations.
Experience:
- Minimum experience of 5 years in Mold Design;
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a management position;
- Exhibit capability for time management;
- Enthusiasm and drive to be able to focus;
- Proven capability for handling large, continuous tasks, and also fast, immediate solution tasks;
- Team management- for this current position the suitable candidate must be capable of developing the engineering team.
Qualifications:
Essential – Excellent written and verbal communications skills;
Essential – Technical superior studies;
Essential – Minimum experience of 5 years in Mold Design;
Essential – Excellent computer skills;
Essential – AutoCAD;
Essential – English at an advanced level.
Measurements:
- Successfully interacting and providing obvious progress on every project inside or connected with the company;
- Interaction within the processing team and other departments within the company as required;
- Demonstration of technical capabilities and sufficient knowledge to provide solutions to problems as required;
- KPI.
