- Our client, a multinational group is the world's largest manufacturer of fiber glass and insulation products, is looking for a Financial Leader.
- Financial Leader/Controller is a key position which reports directly to the General Manager Eastern Europe with functional accountability to the Europe Financial Controller.
- The incumbent is a key member of the plant/region Natural Leadership Team and plays a key role in driving the plant/region towards attainment of critical productivity goals, both short and long term.
- The incumbent strives for continuous improvement and leads the effort for a greater financial understanding throughout the organization. This individual is accountable for maintaining a strong internal controls environment.
- Leadership of plant/region strategic and operational planning processes.
- Leadership of Plant/Region Forecasting and Budgeting activities.
- Internal Controls Champion for facility / region
Provide business analysis and financial counsel to the plant leadership team.
- Manage all accounting, cost accounting, treasury, capital planning, and administrative duties (Statutory accounting and compliance with external Romanian authorities requirements ¿ Customs, VAT, Tax Reports, Payroll withholding Taxes, Declarations, Etc.)
Educating plant personnel regarding key areas of opportunity.
- Leadership in the evaluation of capital investment projects.
- Minimum 2 years prior financial leadership;
- Bachelor¿s degree in finance or accounting;
- Manufacturing/Audit experience required;
- Fluent in Romanian and English.
