General characteristics

The Finance & Administration Manager is managing, overseeing and holding the end responsibility for the following departments: accounting, treasury, tax & controlling, IT, HR and administration. You are supporting the Management Board of the Company in taking strategic business decisions through the integration and analysis of financial and non-financial information. You are a key member of the management team of the Company. This function is reporting directly to the Management Board of the company and cooperate with the Financial Directors of parent companies.

Representative activities

 Plays an active and significant role in the development and optimization of the business and country responsibility to ensure the effective and accurate operations of the Finance & Administration function
 Actively manages the optimal cost of capital mix for the business including ensuring best conditions with banks
 Performs investment analyses and provides recommendation for new investments
 Operates and propels a change in the way finance as a function operates, supporting its move to being a business driver with a focus on cost optimization, control and reduction, and profit management and optimization
 Manages the relationships with the management team, the Management Board and the F&A team ensuring the are fully, timely and adequately informed of the financial performance of the Company, in line with the format and structure of the reporting packages of the parents/shareholders companies. Implements financial audit and control mechanisms on a continuous basis to monitor the performance of the business, its flow of funds, the adherence to the budget, the expenditures, the income the cost of sales as well as other budget matters
 Maintains rigorous financial controls, currency hedging, bank liaisons, etc
 Propose and implement risk management measures including insurance in line with parent companies risk approach
 Ensures that all reporting standards are met or exceeded
 Offer full support to operational departments, supervise the accuracy and timely performance measurement system of the operational departments, assist operational managers during negotiations of important agreements with customers and suppliers,
 Represents the Company in its relation with third parties: banks, clients, suppliers, investors, auditors, lawyers , tax authorities and other authorities, etc
 Defines the treasury policies including working capital and operational cycle optimisation Ensures the accounting and reporting is prepared in accordance with applicable legislation while also ensuring management reporting meets internal company procedures and policies. Looks for opportunities to enhance and improve existing reporting tools and methodologies
 Operates and controls the financial procedures and processes that relate to payroll, controlling, IT management, accounting processes and systems using SAP, etc.
 Ensures the compliance of business operation with Romanian Fiscal Code , Environmental Law and Labour Code, proactive propose tax management measures in order to benefit from legal fiscal facilities.
 Assumes responsibility in managing ad hoc projects from a financial perspective
 Works in close relationship with the Financial Directors of parents companies.


CERINTE

• Master degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience, ideally including responsibility for IT and various administrative functions – Required
• Requires the ability to interpret on a broad basis, principles, theories, and concepts of finance and accounting, as well as administration – Required
• Extensive experience and knowledge of taxation requirements - Desired
• Excellent organizational & analytical skills – Desired
• True people manager & motivator, is close to the staff – Desired
• Effective decision-maker who stands by the decisions made – Required
• Is pro-active and innovative in approach and recommendations towards solutions, with strong orientation towards the operations of the Company – Required
• Good understanding of efficiency and client satisfaction measurement indicators (BPIs, KPIs) – Required
• Hands-on, no nonsense mentality – Desired
• Has extensive experience with SAP and its different financial modules; knows how to translate business requirements towards IT for further enhancement and optimization - Desired
• Good understanding of the production business – Required
• Great sense of accuracy, eye for details without losing sight of the broader picture – Required
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to both peers and (senior) management – Required
• Can work in close relationship with other functions in the company such as production, logistics, sales, marketing , etc – Required
• Good English language skills (written and spoken) – Required
• A recognised professional accounting and tax qualification – Required
• Previous experience of working in a collective decision making group such as management team and board of directors – Desired
• Strong character able to balance the power and decision within management team in the benefit of the company, manage by influencing – Desired.
