Your responsibilities:
* Set up standardized test equipment. Control dimensions and perform measurements
* Execute challenging tests at different Component-level or product-level following specifications
* Make decision in the event of borderline cases, if needed together with supervisor
* Monitor automated test sequences
* Monitor, document, and analyze results following clear guidelines
* Additionally to the normal analysis technician the expert will cover the following tasks:
o maintain the analysis equipment
o create and keep updated the work instructions for the whole SMT analysis for all products
o acts as an expert for all analysis tasks, has an overview about all product specific analysis tasks
o handling of non conforming parts, special quality issues, allowance to readress parts to teststations
o interface between MFO1 and MFO2 failure analyst teams, exchange of knowledge between theareas
o training of operators on analysis equipment in the line, e.g. microscopes
o training of operators on work instructions in the production line
o expert in using all relevant analysis software and databse systems like MES or DBexplorer
* Experience on visual inspection of solder joints (e.g. experience according IPC 610)
* Experience on manual soldering
* Experience with the use microscopes
* Knowledge about electronics, e.g. components and their specifications/functions
* Experience in electronics production e.g. SMT production or assembly of electronics
