For one of our clients, a multinational company with more than 30 years experience in the call center industry and outsourcing, we are looking
for an EMEA .Net Developer.
Purpose of the job: The EMEA .Net Developer will be expected to work closely with the EMEA Business Analysts to deliver requirements
defined by the business sponsors or by the corporate headquarter, Tampa. This position provides exposure to the techniques deployed in a high volume, e-commerce environment.
· Creating Software Code with Adherence to Project Objectives, Requirements, and Specified Coding Standards;
· Assisting in preparation of Detailed Technical Design Specifications;
· Designing, writing and testing three-tier web applications;
· Developing existing systems by analyzing and identifying areas for modification;
· Maintaining systems by identifying and correcting software defects;
· Investigating new technologies under the guidance of line manager;
· Creating technical specifications and testing plans;
· Writing operational documentation with technical authors;
· Working closely with staff such as project managers, systems analysts, and technical managers;
· Consulting clients/colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems;
· Implementing new software;
· Participating in Design Reviews;
· Integrating Individual Components According to Specified Procedures;
· Testing Unit of Software(s)/Applications developed according to specified procedures;
· Debugging/Correcting identified software defects;
· Creating Use Cases and Test Harnesses (when appropriate) to be used by Quality Assurance during testing;
· Participating in Software Release and Project Review;
· Providing assistance/resolution for helpdesk support escalations.
· Microsoft Certified Professional Developer qualified (or equivalent) preferred;
· Bachelor’s degree preferred;
· Minimum of 2-5 years call center experience required;
· Extensive knowledge of MS Excel;
· Microsoft .Net Technologies (Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008/2010) including one of the following development languages C#.Net,VB.Net, ADO.Net;
· Experience working in .Net Framework to v3.5;
· .Net remoting as well as Microsoft Prescribed Architecture Group (PAG) application blocks including UIP (User Interface Process),
Exception Management, Caching, Data Access, and Configuration Management blocks;
· OOA/OOD/OOP and n-tiered architecture;
· Complex Winforms Event Handling and Data Binding;
· Multi-treading and Asynchronous processing;
· UML ;
· Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 T-SQL Programming (stored procedures);
· XML;
· Web Services .
