Your contribution to something big:
• Development of customer specific embedded software components for microprocessor controlled Electric Power Steering Systems
• SW requirements analysis, effort estimations, module design, implementation, module and integration tests, debugging
• Development of software design and programming of custom software components using C programming language
• Implementation of AUTOSAR compliant SW components
• Active participation and responsibility in each phase of projects from start to production
• Close cooperation with international development partners; Close cooperation with different other stakeholders (HW engineers, System engineers, Test engineers)

The Electric Power Steering team develops embedded software for the latest generation steering systems used in passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, enhancing steering comfort and driving safety through a flexible system. The engineers work in customer projects and are involved in the full product development cycle using state of the art technologies and complying with the latest standards from the automotive industry.
We are currently looking for several experienced software engineers to become part of our new, innovative & agile team in Cluj.

What distinguishes you:
• University degree in computer science, automation, electronics and telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable
• Experience with embedded software development, preferably in the automotive industry and strong C programming skills
• Experience with AUTOSAR, CAN (FlexRay) Vector tool chain, ASPICE, IEC61508 / ISO26262, UML, DOORS, ClearQuest, ClearCase, Enterprise Architect and UDS
• Experience with driving electrical drives
• Familiarity with tools for software project management and software version management
• Initiative and creativity, persuasion and assertiveness
• Self-motivated and responsible way of working
• Enjoy working in an international team
• Advanced English; German or other language skills are an advantage
• Availability for training in Germany for several months
