Being responsible for the development, support and maintenance of the Local IT Infrastructures at a 2nd / 3rd line level;
Providing technical assistance and support for all technical IT related issues;
Developing and maintaining departmental procedures manuals;
Being responsible for the completion of weekly management report to the IT Operations Manager;
Designing implementation and configuration of new IT systems in conjunction with other IT departments;
Attending projects meetings/ discussions on behalf of the IT Management;
Being responsible for X- training/Development of Field support analysts;
Creating and maintaining of IT design templates;
Investigating the use of new / alternative technologies;
Being responsible for the investigation/ resolution of all IT related problems, completion of Helpdesk call logging tickets for all reported errors.
For our client, one of the world's largest sellers of office products and an industry leader in every distribution channel, including stores, direct mail, contract delivery, the Internet and business-to-business electronic commerce, we are looking for a Desktop Support Officer.
At least 2 years experience in IT field;
Technical background of desktop hard /software;
Basic knowledge of network and voice equipment;
Good technical aptitude and the ability to understand and assimilate new technology and processes;
A high level of initiative and the ability to work without supervision;
Excellent communication skills;
Good knowledge of English.
