This is a project for one of the most important online payment companies in the world. Tech Leadership Team supporting Java development teams that will work with the customer to understand the requirements, then design, build and test Java applications then hand them over to a production implementation team to be deployed to production.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with client Architects to propose and refine technical design solutions
Propose design matching current architecture
Work closely with the development team to define and implement technical solutions
Design and code review
Create proof of concepts to match business needs
Explore new technologies that address business needs
Maintain and move forward a technical excellence culture: facilitate knowledge sharing, deliver technical trainings and presentations.
Extensive experience in web applications and distributed systems
Extensive experience with software engineering good practices (unit testing, code review, continuous integration, design documentation)
Extensive experience with Java core and web technologies
Strong knowledge of continuous delivery concepts
Very familiar with industry trends: containers, security.
