Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced test engineer (Mid to Senior level) who will be part of our testing team having the main responsibility to test DWH applications for our clients. You will have to design test cases, to create test scripts for our automated test framework, to execute them and to report the result to the team.
What will your responsibilities look like:
Requirement and design specification analysis and clarification when needed
Test cases elaboration according to specifications and requirement documents
Creating and executing test scripts for the automated testing framework
Reporting defects with clear, detailed explanations and instructions to reproduce
Supporting software developers and other team members in reproducing defects
Reporting testing status and progress against the testing plan to the project team and lead
Communicating progress and status to project teams and clients
Openly participating to the continuous practice improvement
What abilities will you need:
Good knowledge of software testing methodology (testing process, testing types, testing levels, test techniques)
Knowledge of software development life cycle
DB skills: - basic RDBMS concepts (tables, relationships, integrity constraints, triggers, indexes):
basic SQL
basic understanding of Oracle jobs
TOAD/ SQL Developer
DWH concepts is a plus
Unix OS skills: basic commands (navigation, search, filtering, file edit/permissions, processes)
Knowledge of a test management tool (HP Quality Center is a plus)
Knowledge of a SCCM tool (Rational Clear Case is a plus)
Knowledge of a Software Automated Testing Tool is a plus

What experience do you need?
