RESPONSABILITATI

General purpose:
This role involves managing people from a specific competence area. Participates as one of the main actors in formulating the strategy for the respective competency area and is responsible for implementing it. Is responsible for the implementation of a project portofolio within the scope of responsibility. Has final planning responsibilitiy for goal setting, operations, resourcing; results and competence development in prioritizing the programs and resource allocation for the entire site.

Main responsibility area:
Provides leadership for staff and work teams of task forces, particularly on emerging areas within specialized functional or process areas. Supports the delivery of client service ( internal and-or external clients) to maintain client satisfaction. Identifies performance gaps as well as new or emerging needs. Understands relevant business issues and the organization’s operating procedures and connects these to work priorities.

- Responsible of the people management, development of employees in his/her competency area and creation/application of best practices/processes in own group;
- Provides techincal leadership in his/her area of competency;
- Supports the Business Owners in making good development project/ program plans and in identifying the necessary resources;
- Needs to work well with all stakeholders (other local managers/leaders, project managers, Site Manager; HR; their direct reports and others);
- Recruits/selects new employees based on the business needs;
- Develops the talents and skilss needed by the business;
- Proactively identifies the need for new processes, that would increase the efficiency of the people in his/her group and works together within the project mangers in applying it and share it between the project/programs, that use people from his/her competency area;
- Identifies competencies and preserves the know-how needed in the field;
- Identifies and implements best practices for the projects/programs running in his/her competency area by having full support, involvement and commitment from project/program management;
- Coordinates activities to identify the latest technologies/programming languages/methodologies used in the field and builds up the necessary competencies;
- Responsible with setting and reviewing the objectives and personal development plans of employees from his/her competency area in tight collabiration with project managers;
- Responsible with the Performance Evaluation and Compensation Planning and Review in it’s own group by considering the input from project/program management;
- Participates and provides input in discussions, action planning and follow-up related to the engagement of employees;
- Responsible of his/her Cost Center management;
- Responsible with the subcontracting relationship in his/her own competency area (take care that the business needs, from the subcontracting point of view, are fulfilled in time; makes sure that subontracting companies develop necesarry competencies according to the Nokia Business needs; ensures Project Orders are in place etc);
- In collaboration with the project/program managers makes sure he/she is up-to-date with the status of the projects/programs;
- Status reporting to the Site Manager and to the Business Owner about resource availability, project/program allocation and recruitment status/


CERINTE

Individual portofolio:
- Typically 8-12 years relevant experience. Recognized expert in their field (depth & breatdh). Degree.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral);
- Good understanding/knowledge of the local job market and hiring specifics;
- Good techincal skills and a first hand experience/understanting of the domain that he/she leads;
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills;
- Motivational , people management and leadership skills;
- Highly reliable, able to balance conflicting requirements and respond flexibly to changing priorities and timelines;
- Highly capable of prioritizing an distributing workload effectively across the team.
