- set up temporary power supply;
- test of cables and equipment;
- test functions by injection of voltage and current;
- safty cleareance for operation;
- energise;
- test under load conditions;
- prepare his commissioning activities according schedule and test plan;
- coordination of his work with other suppliers (e.g. process engineer);
- preparation, installation and maintenance of his commissioning equipment;
- protection relay testing by primary and/or secondary current/voltage injection for feeders,couplers,
outgoing feeders, motorfeeders, transformers, softstarters, frequency converters etc. in MV and LV
switchgears;
- Interlock testing at HV, MV and LV-switchgears (electrical and mechanical) for feeders, couplers
outgoing feeders, etc.
- HV-testing for switchgears, breakers, busbars and cables;
- VT and CT testing by primary and/or secondary injection for protection relays, measurement equipment, synchronizing equipment.
- Degree from a recognised university, technical college, or engineer of equivalent status;
- Practical experience in power plants and/or equivalent industrial plants on large-project construction sites;
- Experience in switchgear protection for HV-, MV- and LV switchgears;
- Experience in DC-supply systems (i. e. batteries, rectifier, inverter, UPS;
- Experience in transformer protection (physical, electrical);
- Experience in electrical measurements and HV-testing;
- Experience in synchronizing equipment and busbar interlocking (electrical, mechanical)
- Good knowledge of VDE , IEC and safety regulations
- English language in reading, writing and speaking
- Experience in basic design
