Tora currently has vacancies for experienced C# developers with interest in financial markets and quantitative trading. Experience in finance is not required. The candidate will work within a small team to develop new and enhance existing functionality across our trading platforms and carry out advanced data analysis. The candidate will be part of a rigorous research and development team process and is expected to be self-motivated, self-driven and generate original ideas.
• Degree in computer science, math or physics
• .Net/C# with at least 2 years experience
• Rigorous research habits and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of statistics and probabilities is a plus
• Python and/or R experience is a plus
• Familiarity working with large datasets and databases, SQL
• Strong understanding of object oriented concepts
• Good design capabilities, understanding of most common design patterns
• Strong communication skills, strong work ethic and an open-minded attitude
• Ability to work under pressure and thrive in fast paced environment
