We are looking for a man/woman with ideally some knowledge of CNC-machines, preferably in an industry related to wood (5 or 6-axis machines would be perfect, but 3-axis is already OK). Knowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD), for instance Autocad. Unigraphics is the program we use, but it is certainly not as widespread as Autocad.
If there is a choice between CNC-knowledge and CAD-knowledge, we estimate that the CNC-knowledge is the most important.
The person will be of course correct and punctual. Prepared to have a longer period of instruction in Belgium (and therefore able to speak English. If not English, then French, but English would be better), to learn to program (first) and learn about the working of the machines (in a second phase). We guess, according to his state of knowledge, this will be between six and 12 months. With naturally periods back in Romania.
Also a team player, as he will also have to program for G. Desmet, be part of the Technical Cell as a whole and have many contacts with production and perhaps commercial.
His functions will be:
Programming of CNC-machines (machines from Rombel and G. Desmet)
Improve existing CNC-programs
Time studies of CNC products and comparison to calculation data
Starting up of CNC machines in production (both PADE and HÜLLHORST machines)
With his knowledge and instruction he will also be a support for the CNC operators.
