Senior HTML 5/Javascript Developer
We are currently in the process of redeveloping the internal financial trading system landscape and uses HTML5 as the front end for the UI experience using Angular JS as the framework. This role is responsible for and active in all areas of developing the front end for the new companywide application One trading Landscape and requires design and implementation in HTML5, Angular JS, CSS3. The role is a senior role and will give great exposure to working in an Energy trading environment as well as support in training and career development.
This role is responsible for:
• Development, Maintenance and continuous improvement of the application HTML 5/JavaScript
• Development in CSS3 and either LESS or SASS
• Preparation of application documentation when required
• 2nd and 3rd level support for the HTML5 and to provide training to Junior members of the team
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent degree
• Software development experience in HTML 5/JavaScript (3 years minimum) and experience of other languages a distinct advantage with knowledge of Java especially useful.
• Experience with frameworks especially Angular JS.
• Ability to design front end screens for users as well as develop and test
• Analytical skills, ability to understand business needs and work directly with end users to create effective solutions for the new platform
• Fast adaptation to small team work environment
• Self-reliance by tasks solution combined with a strong team-oriented focus
• Good communication skills for communicating various system issues and meeting the
customer’s expectations
• Readiness for permanent increase of achieved knowledge level
• Language skills: fluency in English is a must, German would be an advantage
• Full time job based on standard employment contract
