Maintains and improves relationship with current suppliers and finds new suppliers in Europe;
Promotes new ideas for cost down method by modifying design or Technical specifications;
Makes expediting visits to suppliers to improve suppliers performance;
Informs shipping instructions and follows their coordination of shipment with freight forwarder.
College degree or higher;
Consulate experience as a buyer, preferably in EPC, Plant or similar Heavy Industry;
Project management or engineering experience;
Specific Knowledge: International Trade;
Knowledge in industrial contract law;
General knowledge of laws/regulation related to business;
Communication skill in cross-cultural environment;
Fluent in English and strong knowledge of other Central and Eastern European languages, fluency in German and Russian is an additional asset.
