The CNC machinist, directly under the supervision of the foreman, sets up and operates CNC machines of various types according to his qualifications. Such as 3 and 4 axis vertical machines, 4 and 5 axis horizontal machines, and 2 axis lathes. All the machines are operated by FANUC controls
Responsibilities:
Setup the machines safely following proper guidelines
Able to perform complex setups
Able to edit CNC programs to make sure parts are within drawing tolerances

• O buna cunoastere a limbii engleze sau franceze este esentiala
• Posesor al unei diplome tehnice
• Capabil sa utilizeze instrumente de inalta precizie
• Cunostinte de matematica, geometrie si trigonometrie
Professional degree in machining (DEP) or equivalent
Three to five years experience on different CNC machines
Good knowledge in blueprint reading
Good knowledge programming CNC machines
Good knowledge in trouble shooting
Experience in inspection, visual and parameters inspection
English spoken and written
Abilities and Attributes:
Works well under pressure
Good team player
Conscientious, methodical and precise
Good sense of judgment
Can work on different objectives at the same time
Works in an organized and structured manner
Operator:
o Gross Salary (before tax deductions) is CAD$18.09 / hour.
o Net Salary (after tax deductions) is approximately CAD$2,200 / 4 weeks, based on 40 hours per week
Setup Man
o Gross Salary (before tax deductions) is CAD$21.16 / hour.
o Net Salary (after tax deductions) is approximately CAD$2,500 / 4 weeks, based on 40 hours per week
Hours
o The normal working hours are forty (40) hours per week.
o The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 06h30 to 15h00, 15h00 to 23h30, and from Sunday to Thursday, from 23h30 to 06h30.
Overtime
o Working over 40 hours is paid 1.5x the normal rate
o Evening and night shift is paid slightly more
The salary is payable every two (2) weeks as a direct deposit into the bank account of the employee.
