Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full product category management;
- Management of the 4 Marketing P’s in close cooperation with other departments;
- Master data management, pricing, recipes, a full maintenance of the portfolio (optimizations), forecasts;
- Manages the paper and website product catalogue;
‐ Supports them in the development of new and original top quality products.
‐ Analyzes new market developments, competition and trends;
- Prepares and coordinates product presentations for sales department and for key customers;
‐ Drives and coordinates the New Product Development processes & procedures (such as briefings, testing, product tasting sessions, packaging, etc.);
‐ Sets the priorities in order to focus on the most promising NPD projects;
‐ Follows-up on launched products and their product sales performance in good communication with the sales department;
‐ Motivates colleagues from other departments to get involved into the NPD projects, to follow the required NPD procedures and to respect the agreed deadlines.
Requirements:
‐ At least 3-5 years’ experience in product management and new product development coordination in the FMCG sector, preferably in the food industry;
‐ Passionate about food;
‐ Innovative and entrepreneurial;
‐ Have the ability, personality, maturity and authority to build bridges between departments;
‐ Strong sense of ownership;
‐ Stress resistant and an effective decision maker who stands by the made decisions;
‐ Excellent communicator and listener;
‐ Strong project management abilities;
‐ Available to travel occasionally to Bucharest;
‐ Fluent in English language, both spoken and written.
