On behalf of our client, one of the most important shaped profiles and rolled steel manufacturer in Romania, we are searching for an experienced Instrumentation and Automation Engineer in Calarasi
Responsibilities:
• designing and developing new control systems;
• maintaining and modifying existing systems;
• managing operations;
• working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers, purchasers and other internal staff;
• liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities
• project management within cost and time constrained environments;
• troubleshooting and problem-solving;
• providing advice and consultancy support;
• purchasing equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that the engineering systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely, and will posses a thorough understanding of the operational processes of the organization and have a multidisciplinary role, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions such as operations, purchasing and design.
Requirements:
Siemens PLC knowledge is a must
B.S. Degree in Engineering with experience to provide intimate knowledge of the theory and practice of instrumentation and automation Engineering as used in an enterprise specialized in the manufacture of shapes and shaped rolled steel.
Must understand conceptual design engineering, fabrication, construction, cost engineering, and project management.
Good motivational, planning/scheduling, and communication skills are required. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude under all work conditions and perform in a team atmosphere.
Additional requirements
5+ years in instrumentation and automation engineering and related fields.
2+ years in the Steel industry.
