- Thorough understanding of networking technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, firewalls, clustering, etc
- Good knowledge of operating systems: Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Linux, Unix
- Experience working with Active Directory, Group Policy, Users and Groups.
- Identify, troubleshoot, research, support and resolve software and hardware issues
- Familiar with various Raid and SCSI configurations, server trouble-shooting (hardware and software) and helpdesk
- Good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Able to perform with little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to deliver required results
