On behalf of our client, a leading multinational industrial company, located in Buzau, we a looking for a CHIEF ACCOUNTANT.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising the accounting activity, ensuring timely, accurate and complete accounting records verification and processing of accounting entries;
- Supervising the tax calculation and elaborating fiscal declarations for the company;
- Ensuring the compliance with all statutory requirements;
- Ensuring monthly, semi-annual and annual accounting close;
- Involvement in drawing up the Financial Statements;
- Providing support to Finance Manager in preparation of monthly Reporting Package.
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics;
- At least 1 year in a similar position;
- Very good knowledge of Romanian Accounting Standards and fiscal legislation;
- Experience in production accounting is a plus;
- Certified Expert Accountant (CECCAR) is an advantage;
- Experience in reporting under IAS/IFRS is a plus;
- Good knowledge of MS Office;
- Fluency in English ( both written and spoken ) ;
- Good management, communication and interpersonal skills.
