It is an opportunity for Health care and Safety Manager to join the team of one of our clients.
Main responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall Health & Safety and Environmental performance
- To undertake Environment and Sustainability management activities, making recommendations for remedial and preventative actions
- Ensure that all staff are sufficiently trained and competent in their health and safety responsibilities
- Ensure systems are in place to assess, monitor and control the Company's risks to health and safety
- Provide the main source of expert advice on Health & Safety and Environmental matters to the Company
- Ensure the infrastructure and the working environment provision is maintained to achieve conformity to international standards, legislation & regulations, applicable policies
Key requirements:
- Significant experience in the area of Health & Safety
- Relevant Health & Safety qualification
- Proven leadership skills and experience in managerial positions
- Very good command of English
- Experience of working in a fast-paced and high risk environment
