I. Job Scope
Initiate and coordinate the implementation of workover best practices & technologies and ensure their application during FRDP
II. Main Responsibilities
- Account for W/O sequencing, monitoring, reporting, budgeting (MTP), support and Lessons Learned foe all workover jobs
- Develop workover programs and liaises with Assets in preparation of WO programs
- Approve workover programs and occasionally supervises workover activities
- Account for workover standardization and efficiency benchmarking
- Define and establish companywide engineering standards and processes for Workover activities and act as knowledge center
- Ensure company wide application of new technologies and follow-up
- Specify necessary oilfield equipment and services, prepare technical tender documents, participate in tendering processes and consolidates project / annual demand of oilfield equipment
- Define and monitor KPI’s related to workover
- Administer all relevant information in internal documents to keep the top management posted
- Evaluate / optimize sub-contractors
- Support document update and archiving process
Planning and forecasting
- Perform costs / budget control and provide regular Budget vs Planning estimates related to well workover in a particular FRDP
- Perform together with the FRDP management the annual / project planning related to workover activities in the particular FRDP
Industry knowledge
- Extend experience and knowledge of oil / gas / water wells workover activities
- Extend experience and knowledge of Best Practices in production technology, engineering, subsurface maintenance, reservoir engineering, production of oil & gas, artificial lift, sand control, stimulation, well design, drilling
- Extend experience in Asset Management (mature fields operations, production operations, production technologies, facility engineering, lifting of oil & gas, drilling, asset management, HSEQ, legal requirements)
- Knowledge & understanding of project management
Organization
- Organize internal and external meetings in relation to WO
- Prepare computer presentations & graphics using Power Point, Excel and other (e.g.: Project, Corel, VISIO) software
- Prepare viewgraphs for technical presentations
- Create Change Requests
Coordination
- Coordination regarding workover activities preparation & execution
- Liaise / coordinate workover activities with FRDP project leaders, wit Assets, with functional departments (HSEQ, Procurement, etc.) and with Production Engineering
Reporting
- Report ongoing activities, project status and results to the Workover Manager and FRDP Project Manager
- Report defined KPI’s related to WO and FRDP
- Process requests for information from PE and FRDP management
Job requirements
- University degree in petroleum engineering or similar
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in petroleum / oil & gas industry or similar
- Strong personal commitment of HSEQ
- Understanding of Corporate strategy and Project Management
- Understanding of planning and economics including financial management (Opex, Capex, investment decision making)
- Experience and knowledge of Best Practices in workover, production & completion technology, engineering, reservoir engineering, production of oil & gas, artificial lift, sand control, stimulation, well design, drilling
- Knowledge of subsurface maintenance activities
- Experience with mature oil field operations
- Team player
- Good engineering capabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Potential for personal development
- Very good command of English language (spoken and written)
- Computer literacy
Success criteria
- Integrity and quality of workover activities
- Intervention frequency (MTBI, MTBF)
- Minimizing unsuccessful workover rate
- Sequencing of WO jobs
- Delivering budget expectations and tasks deadlines
- In time delivery of corporate production technology related data and corresponding work program in order to achieve production targets
