Department description: SW Development, wireless stacks on different Freescale platforms
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
- You will be part of the R&D SW team ensuring the quality of the wireless stacks on different Freescale platforms
- Create test plans and test scripts based on protocol standards and product requirements
- Use an automated test environment to execute test scripts and analyze the results
- Report bugs or nonconformities using tracking tools
- Collaborate with the development team in the process of reproducing and analyzing the reported software issues
Specific knowledge/skills:
- University degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Electronics, Cybernetics, etc)
- Scripting languages like Python(1+ years)
- Experience in developing test cases against specifications/requirements (2+ years)
- Basic knowledge of networking protocols
The following would be a plus:
- Usage of networking testing equipment/analyzers
- Usage of any wireless communication standards
- ANSI C programming language
- Usage of configuration management tools
