Department description: SW Development, wireless stacks on different Freescale platforms
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
- you will be part of the R&D SW team ensuring the quality of the wireless stacks on different Freescale platforms
- create test plans and test scripts based on protocol standards and product requirements
- use an automated test environment to execute test scripts and analyze the results
- report bugs or nonconformities using tracking tools
- collaborate with the development team in the process of reproducing and analyzing the reported software issues
- university degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Electronics, Cybernetics, etc)
- scripting languages like Python(1+ years)
- experience in developing test cases against specifications/requirements (2+ years)
- basic knowledge of networking protocols
The following would be a plus:
- usage of networking testing equipment/analyzers
- usage of any wireless communication standards
- ANSI C programming language
- usage of configuration management tools
