- Supporting and maintaining Windows Server environments (NT, 2000, 2003) at an enterprise level, in the provision of remote IT support,
¿ troubleshoot Windows Server installations.
Technical requirements:
- Candidates must have a high skill and experience in maintaining/supporting Windows server environments at an enterprise level
- Candidates must have experience in analyzing and approving OS patches and hotfixes as well as other OS configurations and updates
- Candidates will understand and have expertise in networked technology and DNS, WINS and DHCP.
- Candidates will be familiar with server hardware, firmware, BIOS, RAID, server backups, operating system patching, local and remote administration
- Experience and skills supporting any of the following are highly desirable ¿ Active Directory, Citrix, SQL databases, IIS
- Microsoft Certification (MCSA or MCSE) is required
-Technical University Degree would be preferable
Individual requirements:
- Flexibility to accommodate customer requests and to provide a high level of customer service which includes working a flexible schedule (including on-call) that can be dictated by enterprise support issues
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills in enterprise level environments
- Be able to work through a problem/issue with customers and be creative in finding a solution
- Must be able to relate technical issues and requirements to business issues and communicate to non-technical associates and customers
- Fluent in English
