- Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows systems;
- End user support - investigate and resolve Windows System and Windows Networking related issues (windows 2000, 2003, XP, Server);
- Perform regular administration tasks (account management, system backup, system patch management, system upgrades, anti-virus deployment, system security hardening etc);
- Windows System Recovery;
- Evaluate, monitor and optimize the performance of Windows based desktop and server systems;
- Deployment of solutions for remote and centralized administration of Windows machines;
- Document administration and configuration procedures;
- Help install and configure Windows applications (SQL database systems, citrix clients, mail clients etc..).
Generic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Windows System Administration;
- Good knowledge of Windows Operating System and Windows security concepts;
- Strong experience in Windows Desktop and Server Administration;
- Understanding NetBios over TCP/IP protocols;
- Good understanding of Windows system and application monitoring;
- Good knowledge and administration experience with Windows Domain architecture;
- Good knowledge and administration experience with Windows Active Directory;
- Windows LAN/WLAN configuration;
- Experience with cross-platform file systems (SAMBA);
- Scripting languages (VBScript, Perl, Python, Jscript).
- Depending on professional background and experience, a competitive compensation package is offered.
