Core Tasks/Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the QA Team Lead and development teams to meet performance requirements and release dates
- Maintain sites and web services
- Configure systems, components and software
- Manage releases and deployments
- Set up test environment for different projects
- Administer security for production and internal servers
- Backup, restore and system recovery to keep data integrity
- Monitor service performance and functionality
- Suggest new approaches for improving production systems
Technical Skills:
Required:
BS degree in Computer Science, Electronics or related field
Experience with Windows Server operating systems and Web applications
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Relevant experience with IIS and web server software
Very good networking experience
Advanced SQL Server skills
Virtualization experience/cloud computing
Nice to have:
Testing/QA experience
Apache HTTP server experience
Hardware knowledge (Windows Server platform)
System scalability experience for an increasing number of users
