* Review functional specification and design documents.
* Create and maintain test plans and test cases.
* Find and report defects in web applications then track and verify fixes.
* Work closely with Project Analysts and Developers to gather, document, and test against project requirements, ensuring they are met and delivered.
* Clearly track and communicate project status, including flagging and helping mitigate risks.
* Pro-actively identify risks and seek improvements existing systems.
Requirements:
* Python scripting experience or willingness to learn this skill.
* Resourcefulness to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing demands, and consistently deliver high quality, on time.
* Ability to recognize and balance manual/automation needs vs. coverage.
* Strong/clear verbal and written communication.
Nice to Have:
* Performance and load-testing automation testing experience.
* Good understanding of web standards and technologies.
* Knowledge of network protocols, especially HTTP.
* Working knowledge of web security concepts, as well as specific vulnerabilities and attack vectors, and how to test for them.
* Web-specific automation experience using frameworks (e.g. Selenium).
* Resourcefulness to explore and adopt new tools, approaches, and methodologies, and apply them practically to projects.
* Experience testing web applications/websites with multiple browsers/platforms/operating systems.
