We are an exciting new Internet venture looking for a dynamic and experienced candidate able to work under pressure and within short deadlines. All applicants must have a University degree in Computer Science and an excellent knowledge of English. The candidate must be self motivated, able to work without close supervision and committed to excellence.
Requirements:
- University degree (or student in a terminal year) in Computer Science
- Fluent in HTML and CSS
- Very familiar with LAMP servers (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP). Ability to program in PHP is a must.
- Experience with Drupal or a similar Content Management System is strongly preferred
- Knowledge of Javascript, XML and Ajax beneficial but not required
- Fluent English (excellent oral and written communication skills)
- Self motivated, self disciplined and able to work without close supervision
- Availability for overtime work
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing Web applications on LAMP server platform
- Develop and maintain Drupal modules in HTML/PHP and create/modify Drupal themes in CSS
- Some basic server maintenance tasks
Start date: December 2008
Full time Monday to Friday
