General Description:
- We are seeking a Web/Graphics Designer with a creative mind (must have a flair for visualizing concepts and be able to optimize design for the needs of the Web¿ in other words, produce great looking graphics and webpages) and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Produce creative graphic design solutions to corporate objectives for print, and/or internet/intranet web pages, interactive mulitmedia presentations, i.e., slides, computer-based presentations, CD-ROMs, kiosks, and interactive digital publications and is looking for a position where he or she can really make a difference.
Graphic Designer:
- Work directly on design projects through conception, creation and production;
Immediate focus for this position will require the individual to develop creative executions and initiatives to meet clients objectives;
- Creating print quality marketing and documentation graphics;
Perform special projects as needed.
Web Designer:
- Work with marketing team to produce exceptional interactive media that meets and/or exceeds project expectations and delivers lead-generation goals;
- Create and produce designs with compelling concepts, break-through layouts, effective functionality, and intuitive usability that lead to solid conversion rates for our clients ;
- Have a working knowledge of how designs integrate with back-end technology.
- University /College Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or Advertising
- 2-3 years of related work experience
- Ability to multi task, work well under pressure in a fast paced and team environment
- Must possess artistic ability and creative thinking for designing eye-catching and effective graphics
- Proven knowledge and experience in the creation of print documentation graphics
- Expert knowledge of GRAPHIC'S SOFTWARE on PC ( Mac is a plus) - Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Acrobat, Action Script, Flash, HTML (2D knowledge is a plus)
- Familiarity with various sound editing tools helpful.
- Ability to style and art direct photography and illustration.
- Create original print and digital designs in an efficient and timely manner.
- Familiarity with Internet technologies will be an asset;
- Creative, with a good sense of design and aesthetics;
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
