Position Summary
The position is temporary with the possibility of becoming permanent after a few months
As a Graphic Designer you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to make Business Catalyst grow even faster that it has ever before. You will have to devote your time to creating cutting edge website templates on par with the best designs featured in web design galleries. In addition to this you will have to create gorgeous marketing materials that will win the hearts and minds of our prospective clients.
Responsibilities:
* You will produce marketing materials; you will create everything starting from the building blocks such as banners, to complete campaigns.
* You while have to be mindful of orchestrating all these elements so that they work well together and help consolidating the Business Catalyst brand
* You will create complete website templates starting with the glorious first page and going all the way to obscure contact forms.
* The websites will have to have all the required visuals ready to be implemented — think of all the button states or design how the product cart will look when it's empty.
* Relevant experience both in designing marketing materials and designing websites templates, proven by a solid portfolio
* Working knowledge of HTML and CSS, experience with web site design.
* Basic knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.
* You have to know our CS tools, such as: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fireworks, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign e.g.
* A solid understanding of graphic design fundamentals.
* You love the grid, you work wonders with whitespace, you love (web) typography, you have an innate sense of color.
* Above all you have impeccable style.
* Experience in lay-outing marketing materials such as ads, banners e.g
* Experience with designing website templates- E-commerce would be a plus.
* Familiarity with UI concepts and tools would be a plus;
