Do you want to be deeply involved in building sophisticated, elegant and responsive next-generation web applications using the newest web technologies, embrace exciting challenges as part of your everyday routine, and amaze Avira’s 100 million users with your coding talent?
We're growing Avira's next generation of safe web experiences.
Working closely with:
- designers, in using semantic markup language i.e. HTML/CSS, to turn their static Photoshop designs into working browser based web pages
and
- server-side developers, to implement their server-side code in order to develop complex, interactive and database driven applications
you will release exciting new web products of high quality standards, and be proud to ship end-user-facing applications to millions of users.
As a Front End Developer, your main responsibility is for the production, modification and maintenance of web application’s user interfaces.
As a Web Frontend Developer at Avira, you will:
• Create cross browser, standard compliant HTML and CSS code
• Manage the implementation of designs provided in a timely manner
• Ensure that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommends improvements if necessary
• Build web interfaces using technologies that conform to international standards and makes sure that they are universally accessible
• Work efficiently without close supervision
CANDIDATUL IDEAL:
Your technical profile:
• Deep knowledge of CSS/HTML5 and an interest in user interface design;
• Expert on a very advanced level in terms of front-end development;
• Can write beautiful structured HTML and CSS code;
• You know how to optimize web apps in terms of loading and execution time;
• You proved over time the ability to investigate, propose and implement simple and creative solutions to challenging problems.
• Strong initiative
Nice to have:
• Java Script knowledge
• Web content management tools experience
