Role:
Create and manage the web content on the www.avira.com website that is viewed more than 1 million times a day. Ensures that content complies with organizational standards and supports our online marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Creates cross browser, standard compliant HTML and CSS code
• Manages the implementation of designs and copy provided in a timely manner
• Ensures that the layout of the content is accessible and logical; recommends improvements if necessary
• Builds websites using technologies that conform to international standards and makes sure that they are universally accessible
• Performs maintenance and updates to existing websites when requested
• Generate reports for management
• Contributes to the overall development and success of the Web team
• A minimum of one year producing table-less, standards-compliant cross browser HTML code required
• HTML / CSS experience required
• Good English skills are required
• Understanding of Internet technology
• Java Script knowledge is a plus
• Web content management tools experience is a plus
• Web Analytics tools experience is a plus
• Multivariate or AB (split) testing experience is a plus
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and able to prioritize daily work efficiently
• Good multi-tasking abilities
• Strong initiative
